Beava 14L ‘Black Builders Bucket’
The Beava black bucket has a capacity of 14 litres to allow for effective grout mixing. This heavy duty bucket is sure to hold all of your grout mixture without warping or bowing. Its strong metal handle with soft grip allows you to carry the bucket comfortably through the site or from job to job. To mix your grout thoroughly, you could use a mixing paddle once the grout has been added to the bucket.
Designed with a curved stainless steel blade and a soft grip handle, the bucket scoop will easily remove tile adhesives or grout from our mixing tubs. The curved blade helps keep the inside of the bucket clean, which helps reduce waste.
Our reusable non-stick bucket liners are designed to make clean-up so much easier. Simply insert them into your bucket to act as an extra layer between the grout mixture and bucket itself. Available in many sizes such as 8L, 14L and 18L, our liners can fit in many standard buckets, including our mixing buckets. When you have finished using the bucket and grout mixture, just simply wait for it to dry and it should drop out, thanks to the non-stick materials.
Our Beava tub mixing buckets make essential accessories for you as a pro tiler with frequent, ongoing jobs. Even if you’re a DIY enthusiast, you’ll benefit from our selection of grout buckets that are available in 3 sizes: 10, 20 and 14 litres. Their sturdy materials, high-quality handles and generous capacities make tiling installations all the more fun.
Before starting your grout project, we recommend that you use the grout liners with your buckets, as they’re sure to make your life easier as a professional tiler. Let’s take a look at how you can clean your grout bucket, with and without the flexible liners.
Cleaning Grout Buckets (With The Liners)
After you have finished using the grout or adhesive, we recommend that you leave any residue to fully dry. No water or harsh chemicals are needed here to clean it, which makes this technique a really sustainable cleaning practice.
Then, flip the bucket upside down. Due to its non-stick materials, the hardened residue drops out by itself. You can then dispose of the residue in the appropriate waste bin according to local regulations. Never pour grout or any excess adhesive down the drains.
Once you’ve emptied your grout liner and disposed of the excess accordingly, you can then wipe away any remaining dust and store it with your grout bucket for your next tile project!
Cleaning Grout Buckets (Without The Liners)
If you haven’t been using a silicone liner with your grout bucket, you might notice there’s a few extra steps during clean-up.
Start by removing any excess grout by using a bucket scoop before it begins to harden. Once you’ve collected as much residue as possible, allow it to harden and then dispose of it with local regulations in mind.
Then, use a small amount of water and use a brush or sponge to loosen any remaining residue. If any grout or adhesive has hardened inside the bucket, allow it to fully cure and then use some additional scrubbing to remove it completely.
Once the bucket is clean, we recommend that you dry it thoroughly before storing it away ready for your next tile installation. We recommend that you clean the bucket thoroughly to extend its lifespan and get your money’s worth.
The right bucket and liner largely depends on the scale of your tiling project. Small buckets, such as our 10 litre option, are ideal for mixing small splashbacks in kitchens and bathrooms or fixing parts of tile installations. Our larger bucket sizes, such as the 20 litre capacity, are usually more suited to large projects like new bathroom renovations, floors and even commercial installations.
